1) What is Omocha House?

  • We are an online retail shop based in Singapore that sells anime/manga figurines and merchandises. "Omocha" is the Japanese word meaning "Toy", so basically we are like a "Toy House". From anime figures to anime accessories, come in and find what you want!

2) Do I have to register an account with Omocha House in order to buy?

  • Yes! Registration is compulsory so that we can capture your particulars to facilitate delivery and shipping procedures. Also, registration with us means that you will get to receive rebates (if any) in your account balance and also receive gift vouchers or discount coupons on special occasions.

3) How do I buy from Omocha House?

  • We are an online eCommerce website. We operate with an online shopping cart so basically it's the same as how you would normally buy from other online retail shops. For those who are new to online shopping, don't worry, try it out yourself and you will see how easy it is!

4) Do I need to pay a deposit when I buy?

  • For regular local buyers, any order below $200, we do not require a deposit, otherwise a 10% deposit applies.
  • For all first time or non-regular buyers, a 10% deposit is required for any amount of purchase.  (Deposit are non-refundable unless cancellation of stocks by supplier)
  • For any single purchase item that is $500 and above, a 50% deposit is required irregardless.
  • You can choose the Cash on Delivery (COD) payment method when you checked out your shopping cart and payment can be made during item collection. 
    *However, please note that in circumstances of unexpected situations, for example shortage of stock from suppliers for certain items, orders will be given strictly based on first come first served irregardless of deposit or full payment.
  • If you decide to pay upon checking out your shopping cart so that you secure your order, local customers can choose either the Internet Banking/ATM transfer method or pay via Paypal. If you do not have a Paypal account, you can still make a one-time payment via credit/debit card in the same Paypal page by clicking on the Paypal (including Credit/Debit Cards) option.
  • For overseas buyers, full payment has to be made via Paypal (including Credit/Debit card) upon confirming your order.

5) Can I cancel my order?

  • You are encouraged to consider carefully before confirming your order. We work based on trust and we hope you will buy with a passionate heart and stay true to your orders. Afterall, our company's vision is "Collector's Pride, Buyer's Passion"! :)
  • Any deliberate (for items more than $300) or repeated acts of cancellation will warrant blacklisting with deposit forfeited. 
    (please see clause No.7 for order cancellation penalty)

6) What is the period of time that I can withhold my purchased item(s) with Omocha House?

  • The recommended period of item collection is within 2 weeks of arrival. We provide a service to hold your item(s) for up to a maximum of 1 month upon request, but 100% payment has to be made at time of request.
  • We will send you reminder to collect your item(s) when the one month's allowance period is almost up, any item(s) not collected after the holding period, Omocha House reserves the right to put up the item(s) for re-sale.

7) What is the penalty for cancelling my order?

  • Regrettably, if on repeated occasions of order cancellation, trust is breached and we will blacklist and block you from the website. All balance in your account will be forfeited and all discount coupons or gift vouchers that you are entitled to will be revoked.

8) I did not get a response from Omocha House. How come?

  • We will reply to any inquiries within 2 working days, also remember to check your junk/spam folder to see whether our reply email has ended in there.

9) What is the return/exchange policy of Omocha House?

We accept exchange of item(s) only if there are missing/incorrect/broken body parts and acessories for figurines; torn/broken/missing parts for all other merchandise. Not applicable to sourcing items. Please see clause No.11

*Please note that paint job defects on figurines are common irregularities from the manufacturing factory, and we do not accept exchange for cases of imperfect paint jobs such as spot marks, stained marks etc on the figure, unless the defect is major.

Local Customers

  • Exchange can be done within 3 days of purchase provided box is still in good condition. Any damage(s) on box not present upon checking during item(s) delivery will not be allowed for exchange.
  • Exchange of the same item will be subjected to stock availability. In the case whereby the same item is not available, exchange of another item of the same or higher value can be done.
  • If the item is delivered from overseas, and exchange has to be done by sending the item back, all shipping charges to and fro will be borned by the customer. Omocha House will not be responsible for any shipping charges for exchanges.

Overseas Customers

  • Exchange can be done within 2 weeks upon receiving the item. If defect(s) is present upon receiving, please take a picture of the item(s) and email us. We will then arrange to have the item(s) sent back to us for exchange. Please note that for exchange, all shipping costs involved will be bore by the customer.
  • We will take pictures of the purchased item(s) and send it to your email before shipping, as proof of condition of the box and protection to the item(s). Please note that any damages to the box or to the item(s) inside during shipping will not be exchangeable. Please submit claims to the respective shipping company in your country. 
  • Exchange of the same item will be subjected to stock availability. In the case whereby the same item is not available, exchange of another item of the same or higher value can be done.
  • If the item is delivered from overseas, and exchange has to be done by sending the item back, all shipping charges to and fro will be borned by the customer. Omocha House will not be responsible for any shipping charges for exchanges.

10) Does Omocha House offer sourcing service?

Yes we do! We offer sourcing service for any figures/figurines directly from Japan. If you are looking for any figure/figurine, contact us via any channel and let us know, we will quote you the price, only when you confirmed that you are taking up the offer, then we will proceed to place an order for you.

Please note rules and regulations for sourcing items:

1) Full payment for the item has to be made upfront.

2) As sourcing items are purchased directly from the Japan open market and not via supplier, we will only purchase brand new (MISB) items and will not do an exchange/refund if there are any defects (broken parts/missing accessories). Item's condition not responsible by Omocha House.

3) No deliveries for sourcing items. Self-collection at China Square Central on Sundays or Woodlands/Admiralty MRT station only.
